“Take Me Back” was heavily influenced by the Analog Journal channel on YouTube this was the first time she had ever heard of the genre of music called City Pop and instantly felt the vibe. Mixing city pop, with smooth soulful pop vocals influenced by Erykah Badu, Jill Scott and Ego Ella May, with lavish synthesisers, lilting guitars and tough old skool vocals to create a sound that is truly her own.

After numerous bands and break ups, the pandemic seemed to be the perfect time for her to start learning how to produce her own music. This was always something she relied on others for and felt she wasn't capable without them..but that most definitely was not the case.
Signing up to BandLab was the catalyst that really started this whole journey, plus being hyped up by Rafa and Vitor to release the music I was recording.

Thus “Take Me Back” was created and now being shared with the world.
